1968 Triumph T100R Daytona 500 cc
Reg. no. NDV 233F
Frame no. T100TH64768
Engine no. T100TH64768

The T100R Daytona was built between 1966 and 1974 as a road version of the racing twin. It was Triumph’s answer to Honda’s 444 cc ‘Black Bomber’ and it was tested at over 110 mph, topping 150 in race trim. This matching numbers example underwent a very comprehensive restoration in early 2000, carried out by a retired motorcycle engineer. It was completely repainted, fitted with new rims and spokes, new exhausts, electronic ignition, new charging system and a new battery. In addition it was fitted with all new levers and cables, two carburettors were fitted and the engine and gearbox were checked and parts were replaced as required. It has only covered approximately 71 miles since this restoration and it is therefore in excellent condition. Described by our vendor as a good all round bike this ‘baby bonneville’ is now offered for auction with a V5c, a V.C.C. dating certificate and a current MOT that expires in June.
