Daimler Consort DB18 2 ½ Litre Saloon Reg. no. HAP 192 Chassis no. DB1859629 Engine no. 28564
Reg. no. HAP 192
Chassis no. DB1859629
Engine no. 28564
Following the end of the War, Daimler cars continued production of its DB18 model featuring traditional hallmarks like the famous radiator grill. The DB18 used a 6-cylinder 2.5 litre power-plant complimented by a four speed gearbox. This example has been in private ownership for many years and restored to a good standard. The paintwork has crazed in certain areas, despite only being done fairly recently. The owner is struggling to locate the paperwork and logbook for this and Lot 1620. A new copy of the logbook has been applied for but will not be back in time for the auction.
