Wehrmacht Trompetenbanner Inf.Rgt.31
Very rare Wehrmacht trumpet banner of a band member of Infanterie-Regiment 31. A high quality multi-piece silk based construction.
Obverse:
White ripped silk backing. Hand-stiched national eagle with swastika from silk thread and metal wire. Oak leaf as well as "Inf.Rgt.31" hand-stiched with gold wire.
A few small rips to the top.
Reverse:
Red ripped silk backing. White and black lines as well as the swastika and Iron Cross sticked with silk thread. The swastika is placed on a white ripped backing.
A metal horizontal pole inside to the top to stabilize the construction which is as it should be.
Very nice condition. No rips or damage.
Gold metal-wire fringe doing around three sides. All four original attached hooks in place.
A very rare banner in good condition 2.
