Heer M40 Nachrichten field tunic for Feldwebel

Heer M40 Nachrichten Uniformjacke eines Feldwebels

Wehrmacht Heer M40 field tunic for a Feldwebel serving with signal troops. Yellow piped insignia.

The tunic is well worn and comes with the right sort of patina. There is some mothing however the condition overall is good.
Collar tabs and breast eagle are attached by hand. We believe they were postwar attached. Another possibly is that the tunic was "upgraded" for fashion reason with M36 collar tabs and boards. The boards are also early and quite unusual once. The eagle is correct for an M40 but attached with a black thread by hand.

The Iron Cross and East Medal looks to be period time attached.
The cotton liner is size stamped and "B.II.40" dated.

Condition 2-
Size M.
A nice "salty" tunic.
