Impressive Third Reich period time porcelain Wehrmacht kettledrummer on horse made by Katzhütte, Hertwig & CO Porzellanfabrik which was postwar painted.
Fine period time porcelain figure in very nice condition. No chips or repairs.
This model usual comes in glazed in white. This one was professionally postwar painted.
Original wooden drum sticks. One slightly shorter. A small bit of the stick is broken.
Katzhütte maker marked. 1942 dated to the bottom. Green underglaze markings.
Sunken "80" stamp (model nummer). "Kesselpauker zu Pferd".
