Luftwaffe sword - HÖRSTER with tag
Unworn early tombak Luftwaffe sword made by E. & F. Hörster Waffenfabrik, Solingen. It comes with an original paper tag on red cord. Cross guard, the top pommel and the top metal fitting of the scabbard are "Luftwaffe Abnahme" stamped and 82 numbered. This proofs the sword was issued example like that and no part was replaced. The blade is again "Luftwaffe Abnahme" stamped as well as maker marked. A very fine blade. Blue leather to handle and scabbard. No damage. Silver wire around the handle. Gold finish to both swastikas of the top pommel. Neusilber metal parts all over. Matching patina. Matching leather hanger. A very nice sword in nice condition 1-2. Hard to upgrade. Length: 94cm.
