Description
Heer double decal parade helmet
Very early Wehrmacht Heer double decal parade helmet. Austrian helmet pattern with correct screw to the ventilation hole (only one. No screw missing to the other side). A "plastic" helmet with minor signs of wear to the decals. The decal showing the eagle is about 75%. The one with the national colors is over 90%. The shell is BREITEISEL named to the inside with pencil. The inside is PATENT ANG. stamped. The helmet was period time painted after adding the liner. You can see paint left to the liner. However, it might have been issued like this after this helmet was converted from an Austrian into a Wehrmacht parade helmet. No size stamps. It looks to be 58/59. Very nice condition 1-2.
Opening price: 900 EUR This lot will be offered in an online auction without audience. Due to the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of The Council of 25 October 2011 consumers have the right of withdrawal. The exception for Public Auctions (Art. 16 (k)) does not apply.
