Wehrmacht tropical field cap - 1943
Rare tropical Heer field cap for an EM/NCO. Nicely worn with the right character. Period time hand-attached cap eagle and machine-attached cockade. Both with the same thread which is identical to the one going around the peak and the rest of the cap. Red cotton liner. 1943 dated. 56 size stamped and Rb-number stamped. The seam of the sweat-band has opened towards the back. A very small bit of sweat-band covered this area looks to be missing. A period time damage due to extensive wear.
