UK Quad poster for the debut film in the Carry On series, "Carry On Sergeant" (1958). The partnership between producer Peter Rogers and director Gerald Thomas were to see a further 29 Carry On films made during the next 21 years. "Carry On Sergeant" set the template for future Carry On films in gently satirising British institutions (in this case Army National Service) and different film genres.
30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm)
Condition: Good
Unrestored, folded with pin-holes to corners/rim. There is an old 6 1/2" tape repair to the mid vertical foldline. This was done to protect an area of foldline wear but the foldline had NOT separated. Old tape to lower corner pin damage too. Overall the poster remains in good condition.
