Artist: Tom Chantrell
UK Quad for "Carry On Screaming" (1966), the last Chantrell poster in the Carry On series. Chantrell was a fitting choice for this commission since "Screaming" was a spoof of Hammer horror films and Chantrell was simultaneously acting as a poster illustrator for Hammer Studios (1965-70). The large "A" format in the title script "SCREAMING" shows this to be a first release poster but from the later print run (the early print run posters have a small "a").
30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm)
Condition: Good
Unrestored, folded with a few light surface marks, two small edge tears (longest 1 1/4" bottom left rim) and two tack holes to lower right rim. Overall in very good condition.
