George II Irish fusee pocket watch by Thomas Coote, Dublin.

Description
A pair cased, verge, fusee pocket watch, c. 1730, the 38mm champleve dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and signed 'Cook - Dublin', the gilt movement signed 'Thos. Coote - Dublin' (fl.1733-47) and numbered 133, the very finely engraved backplate and balance cock raised on square baluster-shaped pillars. In white metal pair case, the reverse of the inner case engraved 'W. Taylor' in cursive script, both cases stamped 'WN' to the interior.
