An Irish, silver pair-cased, verge, fusee pocket watch, c.1782, the 36mm white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the gilt movement signed "John Crosthwaite - Dublin" and numbered 997, the backplate and balance cock very finely engraved and raised on round pillars. In Irish silver pair case hallmarked for Dublin, 1792, maker-marked for Arthur O'Neill.
