Description
A parcel-gilt, silver cased, fusee, lever pocket watch c.1890, the 50mm white-metal engine turned dial with gilt Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the gilt, full-plate, going barrel movement signed "John Forrest - London" and numbered 3019, enclosed by a gilt metal dustcover, the silver case hallmarked for Chester, 1890 and maker's mark 'AW' for Albert Waterfall.
In very fine (VF) condition, some slight wear to high points of decoration on case, commensurate with age and use. Runs freely.
