Description
A Chinese Ming Dynasty longquan celadon glazed bowl, the serpentine shaped rim enclosing a shallow ribbed main body with incised decoration of foliage to the interior raised on a circular foot bearing unidentified incised mark to the glaze to underside of foot, 31.5 cm diameter x 6.5 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
There is a large chip / chunk missing to the underside rim. There is wear to the glaze throughout, particularly to the inside with a slightly matt finish as well as surface scratches, etc. There are a couple of larger firing faults as well as general firing faults. The underside of the foot has an unglazed circle and signature. Has a slightly wobbly foot. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.
