A circa 1900 Japanese Meji period gourd shaped vase decorated with two panels depicting birds amongst blossoming foliage on an oxide red ground set with blue and aubergine flowers raised on a circular foot bearing six character over-glaze oxide red mark, 49 cm high on a turned hardwood stand

CONDITION REPORTS
There are some minor losses to the enamel as well as some pin head firing faults. There is an area of loss on the top rim approx. one fifth. There are areas of crazing to the bottom white band. Otherwise general wear and tear, in need of a clean - see images for more details.

We do offer a limited packing and postage service for the UK only but are not professional packers and will require a disclaimer from buyers confirming that they take responsibility for packaged items once they leave our premises.
