An early 19th Century mahogany framed bergere chair with swept arms and later studded leather upholstered back and seat, on turned and reeded tapering front legs, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, 92 cm high

CONDITION REPORTS
The seat was certainly caned. Unsure about the back without removal of the new covering. There is damage to the top rail and there have been old repairs in various places throughout including to the top rail with filled areas. There is loss to the varnish and knocks and bumps throughout. The back rail is flat to the very back and worn. Significant scratching throughout. Heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details
