A set of five early 20th Century gold painted cast iron framed interconnected cinema or theatre seats with flip-up seats upholstered in red draylon, No'd. 1-5, 265 cm wide x approx 50 cm deep x 82 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
One of the end seats - the seat does not stay down - keeps flicking back up. It is also missing its number tag. The seat upholstery is worn throughout. In some places practically threadbare. Generallly in need of a good clean. The other end seat feels slightly lopsided. The bases of the seats are worn. The one that is not staying down properly has significant losses to the veneer. There are some pitting / holes to the metal. Some of the paint work is flaking. The supports to the backs of the chairs appear to have been re-braced. Has had replacement screws in various places thorughout. Heavy wear and tear conducive with age, use and storage. See images for more detail.
