An 11 7/8 walnut and inlaid cased symphonion with internal mirrored panel to lid depicting young and old Victoria .... "50 year's reign", 50 cm wide x 41 cm deep x 25 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
Case with large split to top panel. Denting and scratching throughout conducive with age and use. Section of beading missing left hand corner front lower running on to left hand corner front lower. Similar damage to the lower right corner. Regards movement - stamped to both sides "Schutz-Marke Trade mark Made in Germany with Symphonion harp mark". Loose comb with two teeth missing. Fixed comb with no teeth missing. Four screws and two smaller screws on a paper board. Handle extent. Two modern brushes for cleaning extent. Movement clearly needs attention. Provenance - local private estate. There are no discs with this lot. Measurements of box in catalogue description already. See images for further detail.
