A late 19th Century Dresden porcelain oil lamp base, decorated with kittens chasing amongst wild strawberries, bearing faux Joseph Gaspard Robert monogram in underglaze blue, together with brass reservoir, now fitted for electricity and lace work covered shade, approx 60 cm high overall

CONDITION REPORTS
Has significant damage to the cat on base. Has been restored badly. There are losses throughout the extremities. The other cat - both ears have significant chips. Very dirty and in need of a clean. The top rim has several chips to it. The gilding is worn throughout. Wear and tear conducive with age and use to include chips, knocks, etc and some firing faults. See images for more details.
