Description
A 19th Century Wedgwood Jasperware Portland vase modelled by Henry Webber and William Hackwood depicting the myth of Peleus and Thetis, the base decorated with the upper part of the figure of Paris and foliage stamped "Wedgwood" 26 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
There are some firing cracks to the relief work, especially to the base. In need of a good clean inside and out. Some fly dirt marks marks, black marks, etc. There do not appear to be any chips to the base but there are several firing cracks to the figure in particular. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more detail. Under UV light there does not appear to be any sign of damage or repair. There is, however, one small chip to the surface side of the foot where the blue has been chipped down to the white beneath. See images for further details.
