A near-matching pair of 19th Century Chinese Sancai yellow and green glazed figures of temple lions with cubs on scrollwork decorated bases, 37 cm x 40 cm approx
CONDITION REPORTS
There are some losses to the glaze throughout as well as crazing and some firing faults as well as evidence of dirt/paint to the surface. On the lion with the solid base, one of the miniature lions has a large chip to the ear but appears to have been part of the firing process as has been glazed over the top. Otherwise general wear and tear, in need of a good clean - see images for more details
