Directoire Gilt Bronze Clock. The classically draped square form "table a la truncheon" with a lyre, a open book of music, and a floral arrangement, housing the clock movement, an integrated dial with black enameled Roman numerals, flanked by a classically dressed female figure of Calliope, symbolic of Music, the other side by a lute, the plinth base with applied musical trophy adorsed by wreaths, the movement with an outside counter wheel striking on a bell, raised on four belleflower feet, movement stamped "Tourbier A Paris". 19th Century. Shipping:
Shipping, insurance packaging and handling of purchased lots is at the risk and expense of the purchaser. As a service to the purchaser, MA may ship appropriate items solely via United Parcel Service, (UPS) Ground. MA will not ship by any other method including USPS, and property requiring freight shipment. MA will, in no event insure the property whether or not packaged and shipped by MA.
