A Minton ormolu mounted candelabrum, of a troubadour and lady, finely painted in bright enamels, the tree and scrolling base encrusted with small flowers and gilt, three leafy scrolling branches above, the rococo base with shell feet, 41cm h, puce printed English Porcelain Cartouche mark and initials W J/MB Typical minor faults and slight restoration to the head of the musician's lute, foot and the fan held in the lady's left hand but of the typical fine quality decoration associated with Minton figures of this period, the ormolu original to the group and retaining most of the original gilding. Slightly spotted in places.
