A Chelsea-Derby polychrome toilet pot and cover, painted possibly by Fidel le Duvivier with a child seated beneath a tree, the floral group to the reverse in the manner of the "Cotton Stalk Painter', in gilt frames divided by finely tooled gilt pendants, the slightly domed cover with two kidney shaped polychrome vignettes in the same hand, puce rose knop, 7cm h, William Duesbury & Co, gilt conjoined anchor and D, c1775-1784.
