two watercolour portraits of Mary Sophia Ogilvie Farquharson and Maria Ogilvie Farquharson both mounted, framed and under glass (oval) 2 image size 61cm x 47cm each, overall size 94cm x 80cm Note: The sitters are the eldest daughters of Mary Sarah Leith Farquharson (daughter of General Sir Alexander Leith) and her husband Robert Francis Ogilvie Farquharson. They are part of a number of portraits commissioned by the family to the artist Alexander Morrison (active 1853-1896), and likely painted in the mid 1870’s.
