Description
the polychrome figures depict Officials in detailed costumes, each seated in a serpent moulded chair with floral decorated base, impressed mark to base, used by the company from 1920-1935 Little is documented about this company, they appear to have existed late 19th to early 20th Century. The company made only four seated figures and this lot comprises three of the four 23cm high additional images now available.
condition good to fair overall.
the figure in yellow has a chip on the front side of the rim of his hat. Also a hairline crack on the left side of his chair, and damage to his right hand . the figure in pink has some damage to his right hand and has fingers missing, also a repair to the bottom right hand side dragons neck. The figure in blue has some damage and repairs to the bottom left dragon and surrounding area. All detailed in images.
