Athletics - a unique, crocheted post box topper celebrating the 2023 Island Games
Description
This topper is one of fourteen made by Tamara O'Brien to celebrate the 2023 Island games. It was sponsored by the family of Owen Le Vallee who was one of the founding members of the Island Games and is based on the Footes Lane Stadium. It is approx 104 cm wide. It is accompanied by various different sports accessories.
The money raised from this lot will benefit four amazing local Guernsey charities - Health Connections, Friends of Frossard Children's Ward, Greenacres Dementia Centre and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation.
Each post box topper can be posted anywhere in the world free of charge, and will also be accompanied by a plush Island Games Jet the Puffin mascot. Both provided courtesy of Guernsey Post, which is hugely appreciated.
Please note that all the post box toppers in this auction are currently on display at the Health Connections shop in Market Square, St Peter Port.
