Winning bidders should note that all lots will be sold subject to their reserve price being met. Reserve prices vary for each individual piece and are set by the student artist. The Sale Room system will keep your bid to a minimum amount which may not meet the reserve price and result in a sale, please contact SAFGuernsey@sovereigngroup.com if you would like your current bid to be raised to a specific level. The Sovereign Art Foundation advises students to consider setting a reserve price of £80 for their work.
This auction is being run under the supervision of Martel Maides Auctions and by taking part you will be bound by their general auction terms and conditions, available at www.martelmaidesauctions.com. In addition, please note that several pieces in this auction form part of a student’s active GCSE or A Level portfolio and the original must remain in the possession of the school until the examination has finished. In these cases, a replica piece will be provided to the buyer until it can be exchanged with the original piece. These pieces are identified in the individual Lot descriptions.
