Magnificent sculpture due to its size and age. Christ, with an expression of abandonment but also serenity, has his lips parted and eyes closed. He is wearing the crown of thorns and His hair is in ringlets resting on His shoulders.
With great mastery of carving, the sculptor moves us and transmits to us the perfection of the serene suffering of Christ on the cross.
Faults. A lengthwise fissure in the centre of the body.
Height: 175 cm.
