Imposing altar made of carved polychrome, gilt and stuccoed wood with ironwork. Early 18th century.
Folding top, with three wrought iron hinges, which has stucco, gilt and polychrome decoration on the exterior depicting three vases and a rockery, and on the interior are two vases painted in oils rounded off with a border of geometric designs. The inside is painted in bluish tones on the front and sides and marbled with chestnut tones on the top. In the centre a sculpted space shows where a lectern used to be.
The front is made of a large drawer decorated with gilded stucco with rockery motifs and the background is polychrome with silver residue. Its original wrought iron handles are preserved.
The altar has a curved, molding skirt and stands on four coloured wooden cabriole legs which have unusual decoration on the upper part of a fantastic bearded figure and end with a ball and claw.
