"Eternal Father"
Oil on board. Interesting painting of great quality, depicting the the Eternal Father as God the Creator, with a hand coming out of the clouds giving blessing and the other holding an orb which is a crystal ball adorned with a bejewelled cross made of precious metal, which incredibly well painted. The mastery in the depiction of the figure of the Eternal Father, the face, hair and hands are of great delicacy and fineness. Because of its shape, the painting could have come from the tympanum of an altar, and also because of this is a recurring theme for the top of the altar.
