"Saint Isidore". Carved polychrome and gilt woodent sculpture. Spanish school.
The figure is in a frontal position, with a lightly swinging posture. He is wearing vestments decorated with polychrome in ochre and orangey tones which fall to the feet with a magnificent movement of soft and undulating folds. With a severe expression, he wears a mitre and carries a staff, although this was added at a later date. He holds an open book of the Holy Scriptures in his left hand.
