Walnut wood cabinet with table, dyed wood marquetry and ironwork. Germany. 17th century.
The interior of the cabinet is divided into a central door and nine drawers decorated with marquetry depicting landscapes. The inside of the lid is decorated with a still life of musical instruments.
The exterior has geometric marquetry and ironwork.
The table has a carved leg and is edged with carvings of angels´ heads. The table top is richly decorated with marquetry, showing a still life of musical instuments, flowers and scrolls.
Cabinet measurements: 39 x 45.5 x 30 cm.
Table measurements: 77 x 58 x 49 cm.
