"Saint Luke". Carved polychrome on gilt wooden sculpture. 16th century.
The saint is standing and lifting his left leg, on which he is resting the tablet he is writing on, an allusion to his authorship of one of the gospels. At his feet is the bull, his iconographic symbol. He is wearing a tunic, which wraps around him forming folds which give the figure great movement. It probably comes from an altarpiece. Faults.
