Unusual handle in wrought damask iron, ending in two animal heads in profile.
One of the most significant phenomena in the history of Spanish art is the appearance of a style know as “mudejar” which emerged from the mix of the different types of Christian art (Romanesque, gothic and renaissance) with the Muslim art of the time. Mudejar art has regional variations: Castilian Leonese, Aragonese, Andaluz, Toledan etc.
