Carved gilt and polychrome wooden sculpture in red and black tones. Catalan Gothic. 14th – 15th centuries.
The figure is standing with one hand on her chest and holding a book of the Holy Scriptures in the other. The face has fine features and she is wearing a red and white veil on her head. There is a golden cloak on her shoulders which falls to the floor forming folds. Under the cloak is a long red and ochre dress decorated with dark blue geometric motifs. She is on a plinth with the inscription in gothic letters: "Santa Mar..." (Saint Sea). Some restoration work has been done on the polychrome,
