Bei dem Maler vorliegender Tafel handelt es sich um einen in Ferrara tätigen Künstler aus dem Umkreis des Secondo Maestro di Carpi. Aufgrund stilistischer Merkmale und der Kleidung der Figuren dürfte das hier angebotene Werk um ca. 1430-1440 entstanden sein.
