Brunet, III 167. Landwehr 311. - Einzige Ausgabe der zweisprachigen Ilias-Adaptation des sonst unbekannten französ. Dichters Isaac Hillaire de la Rivière, die vor allem wegen der Kupferstiche von Crispyn de Passe (1564 - 1637) gesucht wird. - Provenienz: Frederik Delius (cf. gest. Wappen-EL auf dem Tbl. v). - Etwas gebräunt, mit Lesespuren, doch recht gut erhalten. - +Later halfleather+ (blemished). - Only ed. of the Ilias adaptation of the otherwise unknown French poet Isaac Hillaire de la Rivière, sought after especially because of the copper engr. by Crispyn de Passe (1564-1637). Some browning, overall good condition.
