A late 19th Century French Lacquered Brass Four Glass Mantel Clock, Hry Marc – Paris, the lacquered brass case with bevelled cornice and plain top over rounded corner supports set with heavy bevelled clear glass panels to a plinth base, with brass bezel enclosing a 4 ½” Roman chapter ring with outside minute track and further enamelled centre with visible Brocot escapement with blued steel moon hands, to a circular brass movement with blued steel screws and numbered 4793, with anchor escapement and strike on a bell, and fitted with a twin mercury pot pendulum, height 15” (SEE PHOTOGRAPH)
