Qianlong period, 18th century, Canton workshop, enameled Qianlong four-character mark to underside of body, cloisonne-enameled gilt bronze, surmounted by a carved coral finial, the domed pierced scrolling foliate and dragon-adorned cover atop a clear gem-set collar above a squat bombe body flanked by lion-headed handles and cloisonne enameled with polychrome geometric motifs and flowers on a yellow ground, raised on three tapering cylindrical legs, raised on a later relief-decorated dragon-motif stand, 16.5'' H x 9.25'' W x 8'' D, est: $20,000/30,000 Note: All bidders wishing to participate in this auction session must submit a $9,000.00 USD deposit via wire transfer, cash, or cashier's check prior to the auction. The largest loss an approximately .5'' x .25'' loss to body. Scattered spots of touch-up to enamel, the largest approximately .25'' x 1'' to body. Two gemstones deficient. Base and censer attached; base a later addition, as stated.
