1040 A French patinated & gilt-bronze figural clock Late 19th century, the twin-train movement with "Vincenti et Cie Medaille d`Argent" seal and stamped "7135", and further stamped "Roblin a Paris", the case inscribed "berquin", the circular white enamel dial white with blue Roman hours and black Arabic minutes, and gilt pierced hands set within a shaped oblong white marble base surmounted by two putti studying books, 18" H x 21" W x 6" D, est:$5000/7000 Provenance: Property from an Important Private Collection, Las Vegas, NV. Condition: General marks, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use. Recently regilded. Minor scattered chipping to edges of marble. A 6"-long repaired section to rear of marble base. The book on left side of base attached with glue. It is likely that elements are missing from left-hand side of base. Your bid indicates acceptance of our Conditions of Sale. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
