Provenance: Private Collection, Altadena CA. Condition: Overall good condition. All pieces appear to be structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches and wear to timber commensurate with age and use. Scattered losses to painted surfaces. Scattered minor losses to timber. Some pieces with evident repairs and restorations to timber and paint. Shrinkage cracks commensurate with age, including a crack running the entire width of top of desk, with corresponding losses to paint. Hardware varied and mismatched; some or all hardware later replacements. Upholstery of chairs and stool of varying colors, as noted in description. Glass tops accompany commodes, desk, and tables.
