A pair of French 0.95 silver three-light candelabra
Late 19th / early 20th century, Paris, each with Minerva 1st standard mark and Mercury head limited warranty export mark, both apparently lacking maker`s mark, in the Louis XV style with a circular domed rocaille base issuing a central asymmetrical foliate scroll stem and two twisting arms rising to pierced rocaille drip pans, urn-form sockets and removable nozzles; 2 pcs, each 9.25`` H x 9.75`` W x 4`` D, 68 oz troy tw approximately, est: $1200/1800
Condition: Overall good condition. Each with scratches, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Scattered dark oxidation spots and remnants of lacquer to surfaces. Traces of polish residue to crevices. Each marked to nozzles, drip pans, arms, stem, and base; some marks rubbed or barely legible. Your bid indicates acceptance of our Conditions of Sale. AS-IS.
