Lyubavin`` (Alexander Veneniktovich Lyubavin) in Cyrillic and with left-facing kokoshnik, 88 standard, each with a tear-shaped bowl decorated with scrolling foliage in cobalt, azure, turquoise, white and green on a stippled ground within a border of white dots, issuing ribbed octagonal handles with green and azure flower and turquoise crown-form terminals, 6 pcs, each 4.125`` long, within a silk and velvet-lined fitted wooden case, the case stamped to lid interior with Imperial warrant and maker`s name in Cyrillic, and with plaque to exterior lid engraved ``M``, the case 1`` H x 7`` W x 4.75`` D, est: $800/1200
Provenance: Property of a Private Collection, Burbank, CA. Condition: Overall good condition. Minor rubbed wear and scratches to silver commensurate with age. Each with scattered minute losses, cracks and imperfections to enamel. The case with scratches and minor rubbed wear, and a shrinkage crack to underside.
