Late 19th / early 20th century, Selb, Bavaria, impressed with monogram ``CMHR`` within a circle and size code ``107``, and with partial paper label hand inscribed ``7868 / ue``, of rectangular outline, after Gustav Karl Ludwig Richter (1823 - 1884 German), a portrait of Louise, Queen of Prussia (1776 - 1810) descending a staircase in a garden with thunder clouds in the distance, within a pierced carved giltwood frame, the plaque alone: 5.875`` H x 4`` W; overall: 9.75`` H x 8`` W x 1`` D, est: $500/700
Provenance: Property from a Private Collection, La Jolla, CA. Condition: Overall good condition. General marks and scratches commensurate with age. Porcelain with rubbing to surface overall. The frame with small losses to carving of upper left corner, rubbed wear to gilding and typical minor shrinkage cracks that do not affect stability.
