Silver, high-karat gold and metal, designed with red enameled plaque centering pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds, topped by terminals set with seed pearls and suspending seed pearl and tumbled emerald bead tassels, the reverse bearing a multicolored enamel foliate motif, attached to a rope necklace, length adjustable, 131 gms gross, est: $2500/3500
Provenance: Property of a Private Collection, Santa Barbara, CA. Condition: The diamonds are foil-backed and graded as I color to light brown. The diamonds show evident chipping and eye visble inclusions. The emeralds also show chipping, and evident surface reaching inclusions, with low green color saturations. Several tassels and muliple seed pearls are missing. The rope shows extended use and is damaged in several areas. The condition of the necklace is poor.
