Circa 1890, inscribed ``Madrassi`` (Luca Madrassi 1848 - 1919 Italian) and ``Paris``, depicted seated on a tree stump beside a dog and a quiver of arrows, on an integral base over a shaped rouge marble plinth, overall 27.5`` H x 13`` W x 10`` D, est: $800/1200
Condition: Height excluding marble base: 25.75``. Overall good condition. General marks, scratches and rubbed wear commensurate with age. Lacking an element originally held in hand, likely a bow. A drilled hole to bronze base. Patination a rich reddish brown. The marble plinth with small chips and a drilled hole to front. The bronze not affixed to the marble plinth.
