Second half 19th century, each depicting a classical figure of a musician, one plucking a lyre, the other tapping a tambourine, each on an integral base, mounted to an octagonal carved wooden plinth, 2 pcs, each overall 17.25`` H x 6`` Dia., est: $1500/2500
Provenance: Property from a Private Collection, Monrovia, CA. Condition: The figures not including plinth each 12`` H. Overall good condition. Each with typical stable cracking and yellowish discoloration commensurate with age. Old insect damage to plinths. One plinth with a crack to top; appears stable.
