Late 19th / early 20th century, the galleried demi-lune top of white and green-veined black marble atop a conforming frieze decorated with rosettes and ribbon and bead moldings, the body with a hinged, curved glass door framed by foliate margents, opening to a mirrored interior fitted with two glass shelves, supported by four turned tapering legs, on ball feet, electrified, with key, 48.25`` H x 30`` W x 15`` D, est: $3000/5000
Provenance: Private Collection, Los Angeles, CA. Condition: Lock possibly replaced. Large loss to marble top at left rear corner with further chips to front center. Some offsets to gilt bronze banding. Rear cabinet panel loose, with a split at lower left; screws deficient. Legs loose with evident repairs; two left legs most likely broken off and reattached. Chipped losses to veneer on front lower section. Split to timber of bottom interior panel with two holes due to natural knots. Scattered veneer and joint splits throughout. Structurally sound.
