LOT OF 4 GERMAN BISQUE HEAD CHILD DOLLS.
The largest is in a rose colored dress is incised "Handwerck" and has brown glass sleep eyes and open mouth with four upper teeth and a full jointed wood and composition body. In addition are three shoulder head dolls; the one in the flowered dress has a closed mouth a solid dome head, blue glass stationary eyes and is on a leather body with bisque forearms. In the magenta velvet dress is a shoulder head Kestner with brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth on a leather body with bisque forearms. In addition is a turned shoulder head with fixed blue glass eyes, an open mouth with four upper teeth, on a jointed leather body with bisque forearms and wearing an elaborate costume with green top and red lace covered skirt and elaborate bonnet with feathers. SIZE: 22" (56cm) Handwerck 17" (44cm) Kestner. CONDITION: Handwerck`s body has been partially re-painted; wig not removed as it is glued tightly to the head. No damage noted on the three shoulder dolls other than just normal age wear. Turned shoulder head roughness on fingertips on right hand. 1-12983
